According to reports in South Korea, two K-League teams are interested in securing the services of North Korean international striker Jong Tae Se.

Jong has made just two starts for FC Koln in the second tier of the Bundesliga this season and it is thought that the two South Korean clubs, which have not been named, could persuade the German club to sell in the January transfer window.

Jong, who grew up in Japan and played in the J-League until the 2010 World Cup, after which he moved to Bochum, would not the first North Korean international to play his club football south of the 38th Parallel.

Midfielder An Yong Hak appeared for Busan I’Park and then Suwon Bluewings from 2006 to 2009.
