Kelantan striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha was named the Most Valuable Player at the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) National  Football Awards on Tuesday.

The 26 year-old also collected the award of Best Striker.

It has been a great year for Kelantan who picked up the treble.

Goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi won his position’s prize with Aidil Zafuan of ATM and Selangors’ Safiq Rahim honoured for being the best defender and midfielder.

ATM’s Marlon Alex James won the Best Foreign Player prize with Rozaimi Abdul Rahman named as the Most Promising Player.

There was another prize for ATM as B. Sathianathan collected the gong for best coach, perhaps surprisingly pipping league and double cup winning Kelantan boss Hojan
